Ken Rees — President and CEO

A financial services industry veteran, Ken Rees joined Think Finance in 2004. Prior to Think Finance, Ken was CEO of CashWorks, a leading provider of non-bank financial services with over 2,500 locations nationwide (acquired by GE in 2004). Earlier in his career, Ken ran CSC Index's west coast financial services practice, managing large scale consulting projects in North America and Asia. Ken graduated from Reed College with a degree in mathematics and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.

When he's not working (which is rare) he collects wine, reads voraciously, and is a member of the Think Finance cycling team (often pointing out that he's not the slowest member).

Chris Lutes — Chief Financial Officer

Chris Lutes brings almost two decades of finance experience to Think Finance. Before joining Think Finance, Chris was CFO of Silicon Valley Bank, a $4 billion dollar commercial bank focused on venture capital backed technology and life sciences companies. In addition to Silicon Valley Bank, Chris has been the CFO at several companies in the technology and financial services sectors. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand after graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in accounting.

Outside of work, Chris is a die-hard sports fan and ASU season ticket holder and often argues that the Pac 12 is the best conference in college football.

Kevin Dalhstrom — Chief Marketing Officer

Kevin Dahlstrom joined Think Finance in 2005 and is responsible for creating and growing Think Finance's consumer lending brands. Since 1995, Kevin has been a founder or senior executive in five Internet ventures in Texas and Silicon Valley. Over 50 million consumers worldwide have used his products. Kevin started his career as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

As a member of the Think Finance cycling team, an avid rock climber, and lover of watersports, Kevin has more hobbies than time.

Bill Kontgis — Chief Information Officer

Bill Kontgis has over 20 years of leadership experience in the Financial Services industry; and has held a number of executive level positions at major corporations such as CountryWide Bank, Digital Insight, and First Nationwide Bank. Prior to joining Think Finance in September 2011, Bill was CIO at Green Dot, a leader in the Prepaid Debit Card industry, where he led the IT organization. As CIO of Think Finance Bill is responsible for all IT including development, technology operations, security, quality assurance, and IT strategic planning. Bill graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys hiking with his two Australian Shepherds, Mick and Murphy, reading Tolkien-like fiction, and is a sports enthusiast. He follows all sports including international soccer, basketball (the Lakers are his favorite), baseball and college football—he remains a loyal Utah fan.

Walt Ramsey — Executive Vice President

Walt Ramsey joined the Think Finance team in February 2011 and is responsible for leading credit activities for all of Think Finance's products. Walt began his career in financial services in 1996, and has held leadership positions at JP Morgan Chase, Lloyds TSB, Experian, GE, and Citigroup — with roles in decision sciences, risk management, and leading businesses. Walt initially hoped to be a professor, but after a short career in academia, he found that he likes the work and pace of the business sector. Walt has advanced degrees in economics and statistics from North Carolina State University and has completed coursework for a Ph.D in economics.

Outside of work Walt enjoys fast cars, red wine, and pro sports — and hopes that one day Think Finance will be a proud sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys.

Jason Harvison — Senior Vice President, Loan Products

Jason Harvison was one of Think Finance's first senior employees and serves on the company's Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Town Center Bank. Prior to joining Think Finance, he was an Assistant Vice President with Guaranty Bank, a $2 billion dollar consumer and commercial bank. At Guaranty, Jason managed a $225 million dollar loan portfolio and generated over $400 million dollars in new loans. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Finance and bleeds maroon.

In his free time, Jason is an avid fly fisherman and a member of the Think Finance cycling team.

Sarah Fagin Cutrona — General Counsel

Sarah Cutrona has broad responsibility at Think Finance for legal and regulatory affairs, compliance and human resources. She has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked with AmeriCredit Corp., NationsCredit, and Associate First Capital Corporation. Sarah graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Finance and received her law degree from Southern Methodist University.

She enjoys traveling and camping with her family and is often found at the Ballpark in Arlington cheering on the Texas Rangers.
